Vihtavouri N550 Rifle Powder – 1lbs
Product description
Vihtavuori’s N550 rifle powder was originally developed for .30-06 Springfield and .308 Win. calibers in the late 90’s. The N550 is an ideal fit for many of the 30 caliber magnums with lighter bullets but also useful across a wide range of bore sizes in various shooting disciplines. It is an excellent powder for .30-06 Springfield hunting rounds with heavier bullets and also for other more powerful loads of 65×55 SE .308 Winchester plus many others.
The N550 is tubular powder type with symmetrical grain dimensions of 10 mm length and 10 mm diameter. As with all of our N500 series powders nitroglycerine has been added to the traditional single base powder to get better energy content. The burning rate of N550 is similar to that of the N150 rifle powder and it’s on the medium scale of our high energy powders. Higher velocity is acquired with equal pressure compared to the N100 series – without increased wear on the rifle!

Size measurement
Choose the right size by following these simple instructions. The best time to measure your feet is in the evening.
1. Stand on a piece of paper against a wall with your heels gently touching the wall.
2. On the paper, mark where your longest finger ends (you may need someone to help you with this) and measure the distance from the mark to the wall.
3. Measure the other leg in the same way and use the measurements to select the appropriate size in our table.
